Foxing to edges of text block. Split to base of front hinge but binding remains solid. Previous owners stamp and signature.

French text. First published in France, 1893, the a one act tragedy was banned in the UK and was not performed publicly there until 1931. This edition has been illustrated by the artist known as Alastair (Hans Henning Otto Harry Baron von Voigt, 1887 - 1969) who illustrated a number of Wilde's books.
